Fashion + Art = Miilou

New York, London, Paris and Milan fashion weeks this year have been a mixture of contemporary art, classic art and last but not least fashion. With allot of the designs this year having a huge artistic vibe about them it felt more like an art exhibition than a catwalk show.

With all this inspiration in the air I decided to take a trip to the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, to help me collect ideas for a new range I’m designing.

Whilst feeling inspired and having my confidence levels at a high I decided to challenge my fashion skills and piece together an outfit which matched my mood. With leopard print always being a bit risky to match with something I thought that my short leather dungarees accompanied them perfectly and Dr Martins capped it all off to complete my fashionable rocker/chic look.

I always like to challenge myself with what I wear always taking into consideration where and what I will be doing that day and of course putting my own stamp on it.

Now it’s your turn… I dare you!

Don’t worry if you get it wrong first time, fashion is all about making mistakes and learning from them. Those pesky fashion police won’t get you so be bold and make a statement.

Looks like an AMAZING exhibition. I love the last picture and… those Dungarees are very cool. Only you could pull them off though! x
