When I heard about Stephanie Lacava’s book, ‘An Extraordinary Theory of Objects’, I was intrigued to read it. Hearing so much about how unusual Stephanie Lacava was as a kid and me being strange myself I could not wait to get my hands on it, I found this book to be something I could relate to.
I loved the quirkiness, the innocence of her juvenile years and her experiment’s to adulthood very fascinating. Most of all, her unusual objects (a whales tooth to name but a few) to be the best part about the book.
Stephanie having moved to Paris as a little girl and finding the French people to be cold is just the beginning of the book as well as her take-up on a life of discovery.
